Epee screw making my hand ache

I bought my epee a few months ago and now the screw makes my palm hurt. I can hold a minute and my palm aches for 15 min. Is there anything i can do or will the shop be able to do anything and should i pay even though i haven't used it????

Catal is on a distinguished road
The armorer will be able to tell just by looking at the blade that you haven't used it, and shortening the tang isn't a big deal, so just take it back and tell them your problem.

Waitaminnit...you mean the weapon was delivered to you with the tang extending out of the grip? Must be a pistol grip...and a badly put together weapon. Take it back and have the tang cur a bit shorter and point it out to the armorer or his/her boss.
