Clerical I have a question/comment about result posting. The New Hampshire SYC was this past weekend, it has been four days and most of the results are not posted yet. Is this typical?
Also, I've registered my son for the Portland NAC in two events. When I went to confirm his registration, the Y14 list of registrants is posted but not Y12. I'd just like to make sure that he's properly registered for both events. Is this typical? -

Array In a word yes. It's typical. I can't speak to the particular event, but results and confirmations are often slow or poorly handled. -

Array Results of the Sword in the Snow are here: http://www.unh.edu/fencing/syc/sword...w/results.html. They've been up for a few days already.
I confess, I was curious enough about who the insult-challenged 12-year-old was to Google the results (which didn't help me). C'mon, UNH people - get your results up there! Do you think Jon has the time to do all that clerical stuff? That's why he has minions! -
Thank you for sending the link for the results. I always go to askfred for results. The results still are not posred there. -
One more question -- was Y14WE a C-1 event and, if so, will the ratings earned be posted on askfred eventually? -

I would imagine that they HAVE to eventually go up there, being an SYC and all. That said, it seems to me that the few times I fenced in Northeast Division events, results were NOT posted on askfred. (Pity, too, because some of my only decent finishes were up north...) Luddites!
Wish I could help you here. I wasn't at the SYC (I was hunkered down reffing a high scool invitational all day much closer to home - fewer chances of fencers crying on strip). I'd suggest PMing BlueMoxie, who is apparently one of the UNH fencers, and can ping Mr. Moss to git 'er done. -
Turns out her coach looked at everything yesterday and reached the same conclusion as I did re the ratings question, so there's no urgency on my part now. I had just wanted to make sure I wasn't screwing up as I registered my daughter for upcoming tournaments.
