Note how the Board also clearly defines its own role(s) and how strongly they worded the bit about enforcing discipline upon itself. These guys were really good. I'll tell you more about the organization at practice some night, but basically the group had a relatively small budget but consistently provided the membership with improved and evolving services by focusing on real stewardship (and I'm not using that word because it's trendy but because when I see it in practice it deserves to be called what it is).
