As long as the thread is up I figured I might as well mention how the tourney went. Partner attempt #2 pulled a muscle and left me a voicemail the night before letting me know she couldn't go. I agree with that decision, no tourney is worth aggravating an injury in my opinion.

I felt like fate was working against me but I decided to give it a shot and go and see what happened. The folks running it found me a local fencer to team up with and we came out with a 3rd place win out of the ten teams that were there.

You know, Hawaii sounds a lot better now that I hear more about it. I guess my whole aversion to suntans was just from bad experiences as a youngster in Arizona, maybe it would be a lot different in a tropical environment.

there are good experiences and sorta bad experiences everywhere. i found many of my experiences in hawaii to be okay, others not so good, it depends on where you fit into the cultural context. i tried to help out some women who were in very bad shape out there, but was not supported in that. the haoule women for the most part have a very hard time. some of them became prostitutes, i spoke with several of them, actually i ran after two of them, and tried to connect them to social services, then one of them ran after me, and then the pimps started to hassle me, it was worth the fight. i tried to get my employer involved with somekind of outreach, but he wasn't interested.

actually, there was a strong epeeist from kailua, who i wanted to study with, but he vanished.

Are you saying that flying in hawaiian prostitutes would of been a good idea for coming up with a partner for the tourney? I've had wacky ideas before myself but that sounds a little too crazy for even me.

forget it, we're off the topic of the valentines competition.

i was trying to help out some street people,
[you wouldn't like how they looked mike, they were really not in good shape, these girls were brawlers, on the other hand, they could be interested,my assumption was that they weren't happy]

there is no trick to a can can, it is so easy to do,
when you once kick to a can can
[cartwheel, split]
it is so simple for you!

see you around, and how's the snow up there? they're having volcanic eruptions on the big island. stay tuned, and mexico is about to pop.

you don't have to be a star, to be in my show.
