Question anout LP Sabre Gear A few years ago, I think Leon Paul offered a heavier weight Sabre handle. It was black and thinner than an Allstar-Uhlmann, and not patterned like their newest ones.
I have one on my present grip and would like to get more, but I they are not available (as far as I can tell.) Now I am beginning to doubt whether they existed (though I have one!)
Does anyone else remember these? -
Is it this one? http://www.leonpaulusa.com/acatalog/...re_Handle.html
This is the oldest one that I know of from LP
If not, give me a tad bit more detail than a heavier weight sabre handle. Is it, was it rubber? Plastic? Leather? Metal core? Just a little more and might be able to assist you.

Quit (no longer with us)
Array Épée, as the sporting weapon known today, was invented in the second half of the 19th century by a group of French students, who felt that the conventions of foil were too restrictive, and the weapon itself too light; they wanted an experience closer to that of an actual duel. At the point of its conception, the épée was, essentially, an exact copy of a small sword but without the needle-sharp point. Instead, the blade terminated in a point d'arrêt, a three-pronged tip which would snag on the clothing without penetrating the flesh. Similar Threads -
