PanPacific Masters Games

Attention all adults ages 30+ and 40+ - I want to introduce fencers, referees, coaches, bout committee, etc. to an exciting competition, The PanPac Masters Games - host to 19 different sports including fencing - will be held in Sacramento, California from 7/26/03 through 8/3/03 with the fencing competition to be held from Friday, 7/31/03 through Sunday, 8/3/03.

Why compete in Masters Games? Most fencing competitions revolve around the youth but even the veteran events limit the number of fencers due to high age requirements. This leaves many adults without the opportunity to compete against their peers. The PanPac Masters Games provides an opportunity for adults to fence and socialize with other adults. Not just for Maestros, this competition only requires a love to fence.

Why is PanPac different from other competitions? PanPac has teamed up with the world famous and successful sports event held every even year, The Asia Pacific Masters Games in Queensland, Australia. Now this event is being brought to the United States and will alternate locations with every odd year held in Sacramento, California. The inaugural event in Sacramento will host 15 different sports, including fencing. Further, designed around the “Olympic” idea, the sport is not the only attraction. The “Games Village” will be open throughout the games offering a wide variety of food, drink, professional live entertainment and much more.

What competitions will be offered? There will be two groups for each weapon for men and women, ages 30+ and 40+ as well as unique mixed team events combining all three weapons in each age group.

Contact me or PanPacific at the addresses listed below for a free brochures an official Entry Book will be sent right away.

I look forward to meeting everyone at the Games.

Sincerely,

Belinda Johnson - email: cutter@sbcglobal.net
