California ( and other ) sabre fencers...

How many of you are planning on attending the Linkmeyer Invitational on Feb. 1st? Is there likely to be a good turnout?

Trying to decide whether or not to go...

    What, no one???

No sabre fencers from CA on the board? Or were you unaware that the Linkmeyer had added sabre this year? Or just not going?

There's also Chico's PCS circuit at the same time (www.sierranevadaopen.com), so maybe people have decided to go there instead...
    • Epee is the Louis Vuitton bag of fencing: only the best can get it, and the rest of the masses must content themselves with cheap knockoffs (sabre, foil)
    • To not recognize the power of the French grip is to be in denial

Yeah, that might explain it, what with that one being a PCS event.

Faugh! Who plans these schedules, anyway?

Oh, well. The Chico one is a bit distant for me, have to fly then rent a car.

Maybe it's a sign I ought just to stay at home...
