Array Who owns your mortgage? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/1..._n_784274.html
Dan Edstrom, of DTC Systems, who performs securitization audits, and who is giving a seminar in California next month, spent a year putting together a diagram that traces the path of his own house's mortgage. "Just When You Thought You Knew Something About Mortgage Securitizations," says Zero Hedge, you are presented with this almost hilariously complicated chart.
So do you know who holds your mortgage? Are you certain? -

Array What little is left... my Credit Union. No one else. They have to notify me of changes to our contract.
I am so grateful that the markets started to crash before Canada got on side with doing the same nonsense, that has happened in other countries. As much as our leader would like to say how smart he was, the truth we just got lucky. Especially out here in the west where there is no steel/ auto industry.
Edit: Here, if a lender sells their mortgages to another company, you are notified.

Array Yet another fine example of Florida rocket dockets and people who (in the conservative meme) "just bought more home than they could afford" getting foreclosed on..
