I never said i was confused about t.80.5 as it concerns right of way.
I said that the FIE was to make ROW obsolete because it needs updating.
Of course this isn't true but that was my thread title which was first closed and now changed to say that i am confused about this rule. I used this title to get people's attention and aparently it worked.
PLEASE IF YOU ARE GOING TO CLOSE A THREAD, CLOSE IT BUT DON'T CHANGE IT TO SUIT WHAT YOU THINK I'M SAYING OR WHAT YOU WANT ME TO SAY.

When other people come to the forums, and they see a thread that states that the FIE is changing sabre rules or changing ROW, then they expect to see that discussion, not griping about a rule that has been around for a long time which you are choosing to incorrectly interpret.
The purpose of headlines or thread titles is twofold: (1) get people to click and read (2) make a promise about what you are going to see when you click.
Your headline did #1, but failed miserably at #2. In fact, the headline was lying about what the post content was.
I changed that headline to reflect the summary of the thought contained in the opening post.

There's something wilful about someone who refuses to even attempt to tidy up their language. Either esgrima is a troll (likely) or he's maybe not a native English speaker (hm, maybe as likely a possibility). Either way I can't see any more utility in this thread.
