Array Boy, since I'm fencing all this epee, I can't remember what the original point of this thread was. Was it about getting more customers? Or arguing with a silly saberist? Damn, I just can't remember! And now I seek the revenge on the one who forced me to hide behind this mask -

Array You call that arguing?
Maybe only in the same way that one can call epee fencing. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array I would think of something clever and witty to say, but I remember how saber is just two people running and hacking at each other like madmen. And now I seek the revenge on the one who forced me to hide behind this mask -

Array You assume I'm stupid because I fence Epee, but remember this: When you Assume, You make an Ass out of U and ME, So back off. And now I seek the revenge on the one who forced me to hide behind this mask -

Array Tsk. Surely you can come up with something more original than that...
Oh, wait. Epee. Never mind. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array Boy, you're on here all the time. It makes me wonder do you actually fence anymore? And now I seek the revenge on the one who forced me to hide behind this mask -

Array Me, too.
But no, summer is just a fallow time for a college club...or at least for mine. Most of the fencers have gone somewhere else, and the building closes early during the week, so T-Th practices have gone away, leaving weekends only. Verily, it doth suck. Use the Shift key, people! If you come to Chicago, there's no shortage of [epee] fencing! Just remember folks, children in the backseat cause accidents, and accidents in the backseat cause children. -

Array Sounds like places to be avoided at all cost. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -
I haven't read all 51 replys but short term, demonstrations at schools or camps to get kids enthusiastic, they will tell parents.
A proper sign to advertise the club, encouraging beginners to try it.
Long term a website with "newyorkfencingclub" or whatever your town is as domain name and list it wherever you can.
Any clubs who want to list for free can list here Uneed2getoutmore fencing clubs.
You don't need a website. -

Array No? The original post is in regards to the unique location of the fencing club -- being in a mall -- and how to use this as an opportunity to attract those visiting the mall for non-fencing-related purposes.
Your suggestions have absolutely nothing to do with this scenario. Hard to believe that you read the question before offering an answer. -
Mr Kalivor,
I obviously bow down to your better grasp of the English langauge.
I read into the post a sense of frustration that because it was a shopping mall there are many people walking past but not many using the club, so d'marion was after ideas how to raise the profile of the club, I didn't think, as you suggest, that because of it's unique location it was simply about grabbing shoppers as they walked past, although it is an opportunity.
I simply gave suggestions for raising the profile of the club as a whole.
By the way is there any chance of a link in your blog, Kalivor, mate? -

As to Kalivor and the other guy I feel like we've covered most every topic. After this its probably all just thread drift. Just remember folks, children in the backseat cause accidents, and accidents in the backseat cause children. -
