foil rewire

I need to rewire my foil and having started to remove the wire it has broken in the groove and is refusing to come out. I think it was glued in place with superglue, any suggestions on how to remove the excess wire. I've tried heating the glue with a soldering iron with no success. any tips?

You could always use a Dremel with a really thin cutting wheet (use a Diamond wheel...cut's reaaaaall slowly) and grind teh thing out. Or use a copper pipe full of acetone and leave it in there overnight. Just make sure the bottom of teh pipe is sealed or the stuff will evaporate.
