Heya, I am a high school foil fencer from New Jersey and just want to know if anyone is interested in this stuff. For those of you guys who dont know what a LARP is, it stands for Live action role playing game. A LARP is a real life role playing game with a medieval setting when players fight (very controlled and safe) in the woods of a state park with Foam and PVC pipe weapons. You assume the role of a character that you make and act out as that character for an entire weekend. (friday night to sunday) You act in character and in costume as this person. It is very safe, and the game has appropriate insurance. I am posting this for my friend, who runs the larp. If there is an interest, please post here or check out the site
