Warning Big Red Cornell Summer Fencing Camp

HI. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of the big red cornell summer fencing camp, part of big red cornell Summer Sports School.

Anyone who has sent their children to this camp? If so, did your kid like it? I am looking for more information about the camp such as

    -level of intensity
    -social climate
    -how much their fencing improved
    -if they liked it
-If it isn't in The Princess Bride, it isn't worth saying.

Hmmm. They didn't have this program when I was in Ithaca (5-6 years ago now). You may already be sure about this, but double check that the who is actually running the program (it may be a local club running the fencing portion, and another group running the soccer portion etc.). I say this because the only "fencing program" in Ithaca when I was there did not support "sport" fencing. What they did was kind of like fencing - in the same way that yoga is similar to kung fu. Not that this is bad per se, just that it wasn't (at all) what I was looking for.

The Cornell fencing program on the other hand seemed pretty well run, I practiced with them several times.

It is run by the Cornell Varsity Fencing Staff and uses their Salle and Student dorms.
