| San Diego NAC vendors? Does anyone have any idea which vendors/manufacturers will be at the San Diego NAC (Jan 16 onward)? I'm looking to try on a new jacket. |

| I'm assuming The Fencing Post will be there, since Saul lives near San Diego.

| Yeah, Fencing Post will be there (Saul actually lives in Escondido - North San Diego County - and the Del Mar Fairgrounds are maybe a 40 minute drive, traffic gods willing). In the past I've seen BG, Blade, and American Fencers at the Palm Springs and Ontario NACs. I think Blade's the only eastern vendor going out. Triplette, Santelli, etc would come west for Nats (like in Sacramento), but that's 11 days vs 4, so there's a LOT more time to make money. |

| BG is east. They're based in New Jersey, about 40 miles west in longitude of Blade. Physical Chess is also in NJ and east of BG.
Triplette is in North Carolina, which similarly east. Triplette wasn't at the Columbus NAC, surprisingly (or not?).
I would hope they show up, so I can get some more blades.
As for the west coast vendors, I'm sure Saul and The Fencing Post will have a presence. Perhaps American Fencers will have presence as well.
Other than those two, I can't think of others (Will you be there, Sam, as a vendor?).

| Now that you mention it, I seem to recall PC at Palm Springs the last time I was able to fence at that NAC (the last year before the rating restriction...98?). I know BG was there because that's when I bought my purple washable glove.
As far as vendoring...I wouldn't stand a chance against the big guys...I don't have that kind of inventory...I can carry everything I've got in my car, and that ain't much right now. Perhaps in the future. Right now, I'm content to service local divisional events. I'll probaby try to do a sectional (LBI or DITD) in 03-04.
I DO plan to go out on the Sunday of the NAC to check out gear and maybe strike some deals...at least I can write it off as a business triip! |

| I just noticed a youth NAC this weekend...I'd guess that's going to affect what out of stat evendors go to San Diego...that's two large events pretty close together. It may not be econimically feasible to do both. Hope I'm wrong! |

| I saw Matthew Porter at Duel this weekend, where there was no vendors selling. Saul and Junior were both there, but not selling. Matthew told me American Fencing will be there with Cole manning the booth.

| Santelli does the JO and Nationals only. Blade will be there Fencesmart will be there BG will be there. Fencing Post and American Fencers. I will be there. Sam if you what to setup a booth you need to contact the USFA Office booth fee is like 600.00 $$. payable in advace and if you need power the center needs to know and Cailaforina is expensive on power cost.
BG does all the NAC's The only Nac I saw triplette at was the Greenville SC Cadet Jr.

| Tim;
Like I said above, I don't have anywhere NEAR the inventory to compete directly against the big boys at a NAC...nor am I sure I want to at this time. Maybe in the future...but thanks for letting me know who's going to be there! |
