Cut on Uhlmann Adidas Jacket

How is the cut on the uhlmann Adidas Startex jacket compared to a AF jacket. Currently the AF jacket cut isn't really to my liking, i wear a size 46 but its too baggy and the size 44 is also quite baggy though the arm lengths are too short. I want to get the adidas jacket but its only in size 56 EU. would this fit be too bagggy? or ?

Sounds like you are more looking for an Allstar cut. If an AF 46 is to baggy for you, changes are an Uhlmann 56 is going to be as well.

I would suggest the only possible reason to get the Adidas version of the Uhlmann jacket is if you are not fencing going to be fencing in FIE events and it is on a really good sale.

It sounds like you need to order a tall size. Most companies will do this for a surcharge.

Absolute has Allstar on closeout sale for a very good deal at the moment, if you happen to be the right size. You might want to check there.

Looking at the Allstar UK site, the 108 would seem to correspond to the 54. And it isn't, as far as I can tell, any more expensive than the standard size (well, in most cases. The largest sizes, from memory, attract a surcharge). Not that I would buy Allstar or Uhlmann gear, despite it being a near perfect fit for me.

You're right for Allstar. PbT uses 110. Different manufacturers charge different amounts for tall sizes. In the US, you often have to pay extra for tall sizes even when the manufacturer does not charge extra because they need to be special ordered. I did not pay extra for tall sizes for either of my uniforms because I bought my PbT in Hungary and ordered my Cartel directly from the manufacturer.
