    SN qualifier question

Hokay...I've got a sabre student who just called me about maybe fencing in teh SN quals in April. It's been a few years, so I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly.

He's French born, but a naturalized US citizen.....that means he CAN fence in the quals and SN if he chooses to go....correct?

He's a US citizen and he's eligible to represent the US internationally (i.e. he hasn't represented another country internationally in the last three years or has received special permission to waive this requirement)?

If so he's eligible for Nationals and therefore eligible for the qualifier.

Thanks....and no, he hasn't competed before...so I need to sell him the gear (ch-ching!)

I thought that was the case...just wanted to confirm.
