Array WOO-HAH!! Air Force Academy, baby!! It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC -

Don't be so sure. You'll be commissioned a year ahead of me; more likely than not, we'll spend the entire time either peers or you a rank ahead. Array Take Engineering!
You cannot resist the challenges, and money to be made! My liver is still recouping from College days! Impress friends with Mathematical feats! Make fun of Arts students with 15 hours of class a week!
Or you could make the real big bucks and become a tradesman! (electricians are never out of work! Always need power!)
Whatever anyone's choices good luck! -

Array I was offered a chance to fence at John Hopkins. But I decided to stay in my hometown where it's cheaper. I attend Western Kentucky University and am the president of the fencing club and sort of a assistant coach along with a few other people.. I've been fencing here since I was 12. -

Array I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend Vassar. We just restructured our practices; they're much more...um...effective [darn]. And we have a serious lack of girls (at a school that used to be all girls?!), so you might get to fence a lot of competitions. -

Array I would humbly submit that anyone interested in classical fencing might want to consider Humboldt State in California; we have a growing group of dedicated classical fencers, and even a few rapier fencers now, if that's where your interests lie... -

Array Or St. Louis University, which has clubs run by Nick Evangelista. It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. Array Just in case anybody missed it, UMass has fencing.
We are a club, not varsity, but are certainly a good team and can give many varsity schools a run for their money (and flat out pound some of them).

And I don't think Nick E practices the older weapons (rapier or smallsword) much.
