I'm so nervous I could throw up

Well, I leave for Phoenix and the wheelchair fencing camp in 24 hours. I have had my fencing gear packed since Tuesday. My face is breaking out like it is prom night. I am so worried about so many things.

Then I tell myself, the reason you had one in October on your flight to Boston was that you forgot to take your morning meds, you didn’t eat enough, you plane was three hours late, it was a 5 hour flight.

My flight home went without a hitch and it was after I attended a three day conference, including a presentation.

I have only fenced twice since October and should be OK, although after about 3 hours I really got tired and weak and I need to be able to last. I also want to stay awake for film critique at night. (we are being filmed during the days) I remember film day in college after a game, not always nice. “why did you take that shot?” If it went in Ok, but heaven help if it didn’t and especially if the other team got the ball and the game was close.

The guy who replaced me as counsel wants to swing by and get some help. And remember, they let me go with no severance. When we come in to Phoenix and land to the east, we pass over downtown and just a little north is Barrow. (where I had my brain surgeries and almost had a third this summer. I always tell my wife they are on the roof with a big sign welcoming me. Not so funny this time. I know I will meet some great new people. I just can’t get by this, so I thought it would help to talk about it
Score 3 strokes, 4 seizures and 2 brain surgeries

I've had brain surgery, what's your excuse?

You'll do fine, Geeb. Take your meds, have a hearty breakfast, grab something at the airport Mc Donald's to take on the plane (seriously, they charge you for everything these days, and the peanuts have gotten tiny!), and just do your best. Sure, you're out of practice, so this makes it the perfect occasion to see just what you need to work on, and make adjustments accordingly. Do your best, and try to have fun with it. And take care.

Thanks Jack. I should be OK for a 50 minute flight. I know the wheelchair bunch is super. Now of course I am worried I will worry myself into setting off another incident.

I must have been a Jewish mother in a previous life, I swear I am channeling my grandmother.

Nu, what's to worry about already? The weather is beautiful, the people are nice, you will learn a bunch of stuff, you get to fence, you're going to have a great time...
Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you!

Have fun! Enjoy, enjoy and enjoy! And bring food, you don't want to be hungry..but I cannot recommend the MickeyD's. Anything that includes fencing time cannot be all bad, leave the stress at home.

    Yeah!!!

What they said. You will have a blast!! Get some Enya on your Ipod and relax!!

While you are here, check out 'True Rest' in Scottsdale.

They fill a tub full of epsom salt, 1200 lbs so you totally float. All your cares will just melt away as they play soothing music.

one hour is only like $60.00 or something. Well worth it.
I have them on my FB page. It's that cool.

Hey, shamrock shakes are here for only a limited time! May as well enjoy while they're available.
