    SN 2010 VET Team

Haven't seen this bandied about and was wondering about the details:

The Veteran team event will be an open event at the 2010 Summer Nationals.
There will be no qualifying competition for this event. Any three or
four athletes who are age-eligible may comprise a Veteran team
without regard for club representation or affiliation or division membership

So do we just find a entry form and sign up a team. Do we specify the members
before the event, at the event? The USFA site doesn't have much info about the
    SN.

I'm not seeing this on the USFA website:

Where did you get your info? I may go if this is the case.

Do the members of a Vet team have to be otherwise-qualified to fence Vets' events at Nationals? (though unless someone lives in Atlanta, I can't imagine going to Nationals just to fence on a team).

No... but I suspect there might be a few non-competitive veteran age fencers who will be there with relatives that might be prevailed upon to fence in team competitions.

This has been true as long as we've had the current website...

Veteran Team Events at the National Championships.

There will be Veteran Teams at the Nationals this year. The USFA Website will be updated with the team event and information in the next day or two. The day to day schedule, which has been completed, does include the team events.

Guess I just never looked closely enough. Nice of them to do so.

Great! Guess it's time to start planning and we haven't even gotten to Dallas yet.
