Sunday at 9 would have been fine...It's the driving on Friday that's the problem with work. Not whining...just wishful thinking.

Unfortunately, text based communication doesn't always convey one's actual sentiments. I'm afraid mine may have been misinterpreted.

Or mine. (If I recall, our Section does a pretty good job of switching the events between Saturday and Sunday on alternate years -- so I can't really complain here.)

It would depend on if you encounter any ROUS, I suspect.

If it's the same venue it was at Junior Sectionals a few years ago, then it's walkable, albeit a longish walk. Like a mile IIRC.

I believe there are also van-style cabs outside the train station that will take multiple passengers to the Vassar campus for about $5 (though it's probably gone up since I was last in Poughkeepsie).

It's 3 miles - a long walk, and as I recall, not through the most, er, *scenic* sections of PoTown. Take a cab if they don't have any shuttles. It is a nice train ride up the Hudson, though.

Mike, are the events being held in the Walker Field House? Can't imagine where else they'd fit everything.

Unless Vassar has more than one field house, then yes, they're in Walker.
