Ubuntu/Windows Vista dual boot. I got Steam to basically work for Ubuntu but it can be a PITA, so I left a Windows on there for games.
I've also found Damn Small Linux useful for some purposes (getting into a locked or perceived "bricked" computer or what have you...) "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it."

CPM for me was a Catholic Punishment Mechanism, but these days no one expects the Spanish Inquisition. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you!
