What was your most embarrassing sports moment?

For me it has to be back in college, I think we were playing Indiana or Illinois, whatever. I drove the baseline and came up for a reverse lay up.

OK, On a jock strap ther are two pieces of elastic that Are on each cheek and attach under "the boys" and attach in back making kind of a "V"

Well, on said lay up the elastic bands snapped and as I ran back up the court I didn't feel real supported. Of course running over to the side of the court and asking to come out because I had a broken jock was fun. It made for many interesting stories in the dorm that night.

Sadly, I couldn't sell the "too big for the jock so it broke" story. It was just old.

I slipped and fell during a basketball game in college. I was mortified at the time, but it wasn't really that big of a deal; everyone else just wanted to make sure I was okay.

I never played sports in school. I only in the last two plus years became "athletic". I was practicing in fencing class one night with a friend and the crotch of my knickers (not fencing pants, in the part of Philly I'm from we call knee length pants knickers) split. I didn't find out till I got home that night. All I could think was, did anyone notice and how many lunges did I do? But if anyone did notice they probably wouldn't have told me out of embarrassment for me and themselves. I asked the friend the next day and she said she didn't notice. Kinda made me feel better. Good thing I was wearing underwear.

Nothing too embarassing, but I was playing basketball a week ago and the ball was passed to me. Because I wasn't quite paying attention, the ball slipped right through my hands. It hit me right in the face with such force that I fell back onto the ground. Everyone was somewhat worried but someone took a picture of the ball hitting me. They are know going to put it in the yearbook the embarassing part is, I couldn't keep my balance when the ball hit me.

Knickers splitting up the rear seam at a competition in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Fortunately, Mike Czarnik was there with his goods...I bought another set from him.
