Array Better German Tip Screws ? Anyone know of any vendors that sell a german tip screw that is less likely to get smashed up? - Cosmo

Array My suggestion is not the screws, but the barrel.
Avoid the standard German barrel and use the V2A barrel instead.
It is a thicker barrel which allow the screws when tightened to be somewhat within the walls and also less likely to dent. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com

Array Or better try yet the FWF NextGen barrel (IIRC the V2 is made of a harder material than the standard German barrel, which helps prevent denting, but the wall isn't necessarily much thicker, which is what you need to protect the screws from getting mashed). Similar Threads -
