| never received info. packet for Ohio, what to do? I've been out of town for a week, thinking it would show up on my return...well it's Tuesday morning and NOTHING! However, I have my fax that verifies they received payment. I just tried calling the office and left two vms with the AA and the tourney director (but her vm said she'd only be in this morning and out for the rest of the week).
How else can I contact them? Thanks. |

| I also never received my confirmation packet. I have an email confirmation, so I know I'm registered. Anyone else have problems? I also know people that have received their packets.

| Attend. Bring the fax confirmation. Unless you were not eligible because of your classification, you should be allowed to compete.

| They just started a new tournament coordinator and when I e-mailed the office the office manager confirmed my registration and said the confirmations should be coming out in a couple of days. I haven't gotten mine yet. However, if you have your (a) date-stamped self-addressed postcard (b) date-stamped return fax sheet or (c) e-mail confirming your registration, you should be fine.

| Cool, will just bring my dated, faxed confirmation sheet then.
I'm just always used to getting the confirmation packet, and with the new format for Div. 1, I like to get all the relevant info. regarding it just to keep me from getting any jitters.
I'm a control freak, and the only nightmares I ever have about fencing are: equipment failures and not finding/getting to the tournament on time. |

| The website for the NAC reccommends you email your registration questions to: tournaments@usfencing.org.
I got a email confirmation in about an hour. |

| i would just go there, bringing your confirmation by e-mail that's what e-mails are for. as of late, i've had many experiences with people who don't care about anything except themselves. i contacted a salle in a university to ask them for their schedule and she bull****ted me about her time table - i found a different venue. it was very upsetting. but if you let it stop you you wont fence. to my new teacher, sorry i missed out on a week, i'll be in next week or so, i am totally exhausted from travelling. the nature of the sport is that it's highly highly competitive, even directors, bout committees and organizers continue to compete and let competitors flounder around looking for venues, equipment, armormors, and so forth. they found steriods in france again, it's only because of the competition. they don't want' women's saber at the olympics, so they'll through out womens foil, it's all about who's better, who has more control. |
