Yes it is. I wasn't aware of them. Both were prohibitively expensive not long ago.

"Buckieboy" (from his e-mail address) will likely become more common as it's easier to get the spelling right & has a nice ring to it.

Not that I would part take in such things.

I just got a response from Christine. I hope she sends me the answer. Or rather, I hope the FOC sends her the answer.

    "Hello Anthony,

I did forward your question to the FOC chair for his response. I did want
to let you know that many people forwarded your post on fencing.net - thank
    you for making me laugh!!

I think it's safe to say we can leave Christine out of this. It's just us, Bukieboy, and some of the better prose I've read from DavidX.

Well I hope she genuinely takes this all with a bit of laughter and "never-mind". With the word that Andrea has called it quits - no reason cited - it makes me wonder if too much is too much. I'd hate to be on the receivng end of all the queries that f.netters can come up with.

I'd expect f.netters to know to be *very* nice to Christine. (and Ashley, and everyone else they interact with at the far-flung events and home office.)

The underlying purpose of this article seems to be an attempt by an insider to control information. Its already been said…..some USFA officials really don’t understand how the internet has changed fencing.

You know, I recall saying something to the effect of "I'm told that they don't care who is on which side in Europe". I don't believe I said it wasn't a rule that lefties went on the left, just that it didn't seem to be thought important anywhere but here. I can't remember in which thread I said it, though.

It would not make me unhappy to have irked M. Bukantz enough to stir him to write a rant about it.

Ditto, except I would change "fencing" for "the World".
