Counter Riposte is Moving to San Diego!

    Yay!

    Finally...

I can now move back to sunny San Diego and plan a return trip through Salles and Clubs across the US on my return...

Sorry to see you go. I know your skills, insight & humor will be missed around here. Best of luck on the left coast and if you change your mind, we'll leave the light on for you.

Do me a quick favor? When you make it past the Sacramento area... LAUGH.

That way, we'll know you're getting close.
When you have three Romulan Warbirds blocking the escape route, Worf has an emotional breakdown about his childhood toy, Riker announces he's gay, Data's positronic brain gets a virus, and Geordi quits because he's had just one too many imminent warp core breach.... Just sit back, breathe, and follow these simple steps:

From Sacramento to San Carlos? Not enough prep time. Laugh around Denver, that should be better...

But then he won't be able to negotiate the avalanche. I say he has to get past the mountain first before reshaping landscape.

Uh oh, this is going in a bad direction, snark-wise...

I'm in the process of cleaning my apartment for the move... I apparently have a lot of junk.

You've been my friend and mentor. I'll miss your light-hearted positive attitude and especially your M-E-L-L-O-W. I'll keep trying to relax but know that I'll never achieve your level.

Just in time for PCCs. Lowering my travel expenses is a good thing.

Damn you and your immigrant labor. How am I supposed to trick you into hiring me if highly qualified referees just wander into your lap.

I'll promise to be quiet. Would that help?

Now if some of us could get the hotel promotion code as we can line up our lodgings.....

Oh yeah....and maybe the sectional website updated...it's still on last season.

As for CR....I'd be able to hit him up for equip sales....but he'll be a short drive from Fencing Post....so unless he needs something at a tourney I'm working, that's out...
Need fencing equipment? See me at H.O.M. Fencing Supply

Going to your first tournament? Read "Choose yer weapon, Laddie (or: Dude, where's my foil?)"

They way refs keep migrating here its getting easier to do a travel budget that doesn't make me cringe.

    BurritoZilla... 4x4 Animal-style... Fry's Electronics...

Granted you have to close your eyes and think happy thoughts when you have to eat west coast pizza, but not a bad trade off overall.

I definitely am getting a kick out of how many good foil referees have moved out of NJ in the past couple years, considering the NJ Div pays referees better than any other division I'm aware of.* What? Its like theres something about NJ fencing that makes people NOT like it...

*Possible the Boston crowd, but I'm not sure...
