Dallas in March - How to sign up? Hi all,
I'm new here: new on the forum and new in the fencing world in the US. (fenced 18 years in France).
I have a few questions:
1) How do I check my rating?
I fenced at the Duel of Desert, which might have given me a rating, and also I was a C a few years ago when I did a 3 months come back before getting injured
2) I would like to go to Dallas in March for the tournament. I think I can enter several categories (Men Epee, Vet Epee) but also different Divisions...
Thanks!

Xavier You can check your rating on the membership listing: http://fencing.teamusa.org/pages/4361. Note that since the Epee event at DitD was an A2, if you finished 13th or below you did not earn a rating. If you were a C a few years ago, and let your membership lapse, you may still have a rating but you need to send USFA an email with the details (when it was earned) for them to correct the membership listing.
If your correct rating is D or below, and you are a veteran, you can enter the Division 2 (C and Under), Division 3 (D and Under) and Vets events appropriate for your age. -

Array Assuming that you're Xavier Pilsudski, you did not earn a rating at the Duel.
The current US Fencing membership list has you (or rather has Xavier Piludski, who I'm assuming is the same person the Duel results have and that both refer to you) marked as unclassified. If you earned a C a few years ago it didn't manage to stay attached to your name through the interval that you were not a member. Perhaps due to the spelling changes. If you moved in the meantime or marked the membership registration as a new member, rather than renewing, those could also have contributed.
If you talk to the National Office and can give them any details about when you were previously a member (year, division (or, ideally, membership number)) then it should be correctable.

Thank you all for your help.
I think I have all the answers I need with the 3 replies.
Yes, indeed I am Xavier Pilsudski, and I was 13 in Vegas, and I guess I am missing the rating for one position (12 would have been good!!!)
I'll try to see if I can get the my previous ranking by contacting the USFA.
Thanks again and see some of you in Dallas! Similar Threads -
