    Upenn invitational (College fencing)

    Is there any news yet?
The girls are fencing today... no one is answering cell phones. I think they are busy.

Temple beat UPenn 16-11 and lost to Northwestern 16-11 (courtesy of David Sapery, who is there).

Don't know scores yet for any other teams, though, or even anything after those two for Temple.

(CF360 doesn't seem to be on this one, either.)

It is not too specific. The Men fence tomorrow.

I was there refereeing epee, but unfortunately that means epee was about all I saw, and only what took place on my strip. Penn's WE team was very strong, losing only to Temple.

Actually the Penn WE squad appears to have gone undefeated on the day. The Penn article has the squad scores for Penn vs. Temple flipped between epee and sabre. They won epee, we won sabre, both by 6-3 margins.

Thanks for the correction. I did refer to that article to refresh my memory.

Here is information from the Duke Website, at GoDuke.com.

It is impressive how the college websites post information so quickly!
