I'm definitely buying this... Mike has contributed more to my coaching than anyone else.

Just got my copy today. It's great! I do agree with both Darius and Allen on their comments for improvement.

A better microphone would be excellent. A better camera would also be good too. Also, a person manning the camera at all times so that the action doesn't run off the screen would have been nice.

Like Allen, I'd donate money to go towards a better camera and better microphone.

I really hope the USFCA keeps this up!

Thanks for all of the positive comments. I had amateur video available to do this so we put it together with what we had and charged a lower price. I did what I could with the audio, boosting to 200% at times.

Since this DVD selling briskly, with the permission of the presenters and USFCA, we are starting to build an amateur epee version from the 2009 footage. I think that the epee version could be as good as the foil.

The future USFCA DVDs would included: my documentary film camera and lavalier (wireless) microphone for the presenter, shoot in 16:9, add DVD menus and make a more professional product at a higher price point.

I think this is an important step for USFCA and fencing. Coaching education is an important aspect of the growth and success of fencing and for lower level coaches to understand what high level coaches are working on is going to be a key to their success.
