Array What happened to the Piller Men's Epee? It appeared originally to have been scheduled for the 24th of this month, but last I checked the Bay Cup page it isn't listed, even though the page says a schedule change was made; by "schedule change" did they mean deletion? Was it cancelled due to conflicts? Or did I simply overlook something? Eric?
Any information would be appreciated. -

Array The Piller Men's Epee (and the accompanying Golden Gate Women's Epee) were planned to be part of the PCS circuit. But the forms were not delivered to the PCS section head (Frank Van Dyke) soon enough, so it wasn't included in the PCS circuit schedule. It wasn't planned to be part of the Bay Cup schedule because it was assumed to be part of the PCS schedule. And, it was scheduled during the JO qualifiers weekend. We would not want to have a Bay Cup event during a qualifiers weekend. We could tolerate a PCS event during a qualifiers weekend.
The upshot is that the Nov 23/24 epee events are cancelled. There may be another Bay Cup epee event which will be designated as the Piller, at least to fulfill the Piller epee event status for the year. Similar Threads -
