the top 16 of the French National Points will not be fencing on Saturday
Saturday
8 fencers per pool. The top 16 will automatically qualify for Sunday's round.
Round of 256 and 128. Fencers qualified to the 64 T.E. qualify for Sunday's round.
Sunday
96 competitors (Top 16 in the French National points + Top 16 out of pools + 64 from T.E.)
1st round of pools: 16 pools of 6 fencers – 18 fencers will be eliminated.
2nd round of pools: 13 pools of 6 fencers – 14 fencers will be eliminated
Tableau of 64 without repechage. -

K O'N I am well aware, but the Liste des tireurs inscrits (480)had their names as Azzub, Ibrahim and Joseph, Wilery respectively.

I was just pointing out an error made by the FIE. It won't be the FIE as it's a cadet competition. It's a European Circuit competition, so you can't blame the European federation either - all entries for these have to be made by the fencer's national governing body (or by somebody with responsibility for making the entries) on line. -
Pinkelephant is correct. The FIE does run these local cadet tournaments, the same way that the FIE doesn't run our national or local events.
