I skimmed the field. This is a very, very difficult event, with most of the top 8 and top 16 FIE Juniors in the competition. SF should be close to 2. -

To be fair Gav, most countries who have any success at in fencing only seem to do it in one weapon and one gender. I don't have a scooby why that is, but it does seem to be the way, though there are obviously a few exceptions. The Stalwart Panda
