    I skimmed the field. This is a very, very difficult event, with most of the top 8 and top 16 FIE Juniors in the competition. SF should be close to 2.

    All together, 3 Brits in L8- pretty impressive.

    You forgot to point out that the Brits in the last 8 outnumbered the homeboys by 3 to 1. No mean achievement when you consider who they had to put out on their way there.

    We seen to have it sorted in MF. Now if only we could translate that to the other weapons...

    To be fair Gav, most countries who have any success at in fencing only seem to do it in one weapon and one gender. I don't have a scooby why that is, but it does seem to be the way, though there are obviously a few exceptions.

    D'art me ole mucker - I know and this doesn't stop me ffrom wishing it were not so.

    In any case the big boys seem to do ok at all of the weapons...
