This is really worth remembering. If push-push-pushing into opponent, bouts can be easily and quickly lost through desperation and rushing to finish. If can control, can really upset opponent.
If opponent is holding back for parry, keep cruising and hold finish just a tiny bit more than panic stations then finish strong. If opponent counter-attack, smooth through and turn on a light.
If opponent smart, probably try to double-out to fight for control, then get into sabre-style ready-play prepare-finish/prepare-countertime. All really good to get feel for moving.
