Array Games I know it's not 'fencing', But has anyone ever played storm the castle?
Where you split into two (uneven) teams, and all crowd on to one strip. Every one has a foil and one person on the defending team has a sabre and a foil. The offensive team runs in to the defensive team trying to legally touch as many people as possible, if you are touched, you are out.
I think it's fun, are there other 'movie style fencing' games? Please share Rules of Fencing
1) The director is always right
2) When the director is wrong, refer to rule #1 -

Array We did something like that in my first college fencing class...but the instructor split us up in the the English & French sides. She always made me be on the British side, because she KNEW I'd start throwing out Moonty Python & the Holy Grail jokes if she made me French!
The kids' instructor does the game as SwordPlay, too. -

Array We also did something somewhat similar on our college team.
We'd break into squads (foil/epee/sabre), each person would tape a balloon to themselves--with the Captain of each squad (called the King) would tape a couple of balloons to himself. When your balloon (or all balloons if you were King) popped, you were "dead." The team whose King was the last standing, won.
Although not required, everyone chose to use sabres.
