Slim, I think you are the one with the serious issues

I just don't really understand why people care. Just let whatever happens happen and then she can fade back into relative obscurity.

Actually, I'm thinking it would be best for her to stay in the limelight....best for the Dems, I mean....'cause every time she opens her mouth, she helps dig teh GOP a deeper hole.

I'm actually slightly impressed. The GOP is finally proving the old adage "you can't lose an election by running to your right" wrong.

That takes some work in this country.

If you're planning to go to a Palin booksigning, get in line early.

Note: IMHO, the reason those 300 out of 1000 people did not get their autographs is because the store screwed up. It's THEIR fault and not Palin's.

I've been to book signings and I've volunteered at book signings. It's the responsibility of the paid staff and/or volunteers to keep the line moving and Borders had an epic fail on this one.

That may be true, but some people clearly don't believe that...the book store's fault or not, it reflects badly on her.

Some people are idiots. The local paper noted problems and the bloggers and media outlets blew it out of proportion.

Bad spin. No cookie. Go stand in the corner with Fox News.

They care because it offends their fundamental view of a properly-functioning universe that a woman can exist who is popular, powerful and not a liberal.

You know, dahling...she's just not one of us.

Well I suppose 1 out of 3 is not bad -- in baseball. She is not that popular, only with a rather small minority, she is not particularly powerful, but she certainly is not a liberal.

I'm not going if it conflicts with my fencing - but if it don't - I might have a new girlfriend tomorrow.

Calm yourself ladies - there's still plenty of David to go around.

She of course has no power anywhere - except the power of square glasses and sexy gams - which is power enough over me.
