Different sides of the strip What are good reasons to choose to fence on one side of the strip or another? I am left handed, and i notice when fencers like pavel kolobkov fence left handed people, he is always on the right, threatening the outside. in contrast, alfredo rota, who is also left handed, often chooses to move to his right, so he is threatening the inside. What are the advantages and disadvantages to these decisions? -
people ride the sides of the strip to help close out that side from deeper attacks and/or remises. if you wish to fleche me on the side that i have next to the strip, you get only the one shot and then you're off the side. Similar Threads -
