Fencing Knickers?! I want some...
No, I don't compete (yet) and I just fence in my college. Still, I want the.
My question is about how they are suppose to fit.
I am 20, 4'11 and about 75 Ibs. I found knickers (the waist is 26 is beleive?)that go just below my knee and fit well, with suspenders however...in the theigh/leg area they aren't really form fitting. They are made of a rougher matierel, not the cotton, more like the type that my jacket is made out of if that makes sense?
They aren't overly baggy (Im just super skinny) but I wonder if it is appropriate, can I shrink them a bit? And how?
(And what about not the traditional white socks? opinions?)

Option 1: Buy knickers in your own size.
Option 2: Have your knickers altered to fit you better.
It may be possible that they will shrink in the wash, but it is generally recommended to follow the care instructions provided as you do not want to damage the material and weaken its protective qualities (and I don't know what your jacket is made of).
As for socks, soccer socks are widely used and available in a wide variety of colours.

I go to Oakland Community College, however, I have also fenced at UFO and other places.
Yea I probably will get ones that fit me a bit better. I will have to try them on again and see. Yea, I found Soccer socks (finally)...
