Array Saber Lame (Borst USA) Good day fencers! My name is Nico and I will soon be competing in many tournaments to come! I have already competed in several, and have been fencing for about a year and a half now since July 2008. My primary weapon is the saber and my secondary weapon being the foil, but the foil is still evil.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knew where to buy saber lames and what not AND get both last name and country on the back of the lame. Since my last name is Borst it should say "Borst USA". Anybody know where to buy these lamés?
(And does lame have an accent over the e?) -

(And does lame have an accent over the e?) Most vendors will sell a lame (F.net, myself, Escrime, Leon Paul USA, etc), although some vendors don't carry a full range of gear...but not all of us have the gear to put the name on (I don't, for one)...the name is an extra charge...and once it's done, there are not returns...so if you're unsure of your size, best to get the lame, confirm the size and fit, and then send it out for stenciling. -

Array I already know my size because I have another lame, just it doesn't have my name on it. I just need a link to a site where you can buy lames and get your name ordered on them. -
Here is one link -- but also read their warning. Know exactly your size, from the specific manufacturer. Having dealt with various brands of lames and uniforms for the kids, sizing, cut and fit vary enormously between brands. http://www.leonpaulusa.com/fencing/a...nd_Lame_s.html -

Because of this factor, I would buy your lame from wherever it is that you normally get your lame, then send it out to have your name put on it. http://www.marxentpdx.com/ "Inside every older person is a younger person wondering what the hell happened." ~Cora Harvey Armstrong

Array I was gonna say...why are we so worried about where to buy lames? Does lame have an accent is the real problem here...
Speaking of, my epee lame is starting to pill. Where's a good place to buy a fencing jacket? Sometimes adrenalin is more instructive than meditation. So, in between screaming, try and pay attention. -

It's made of unobtainium - a rare material that is not only infinitely strong and has zero mass and resistance. but is also invisible to the naked eye (which makes the lame difficult to find when you forget where you last put it). -

Array Don't laugh too loud. The St. George folks have prototyped just such a system. -

Array Well, other makes will soon be assimilated. Resistance is futile. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! Similar Threads -
