Array FWF FIE Equipment Hey, there weren't any threads here that were discussing this so just curious how the FWF FIE gear stacked up. I'm looking at replacing my Allstar Startex kit and really liked the full stretchiness of it. RebelFencer's Awesome Quote of the Week:

Array The stuff i got was great. I actually like the liner on thejacket, because the only thing i wear underneath is underarmour. The velcro's good quality, and the zippers look like they'll hold up. It's about as stretchy as the startex.
The aren't very white, but i don't really care about that. Everyone relax cause I got it.... -

Array Alright, I've gotten the gear and fenced in it and here's a summary:
The material is great, feels kind of like a cross between Negrini and the Startex. Nice and slick as well as strong and stretchy. The cut is more like Allstar than Uhlmann in the fact that it is thinner. The knickers are basically high quality full stretch knickers. The jacket is the same except it has a nice liner in it that (to me) made it more comfortable than the startex jacket. Overall this is really good gear so far although I haven't been able to test the longevity of it. The mask is pretty much an FIE mask with nothing really special about it, which is fine to me at least because all I want is a basic mask. It feels sturdy, no mask hits yet so there hasn't really been a test of its durability, but it is comfortable.
All in all this is good gear and I recommend it, but make sure you know your size and maybe bump up a size for a better fit. I'd also like to take this chance to plug F.net's great customer service. My initial jacket got here with the zipper hinge coming off and the zipper unable to engage. I emailed Craig, he shipped it yesterday and I received my replacement jacket this morning. So regardless of what you order, make sure you're ordering it from good people willing to help out with anything that might go wrong with the ordering process.
