Array USFA developmental grant Does anyone know anything about this grant? and what it would take to recieve one for a high school fencing club/team? "Speak softly and carry a big sabre" OPA! -

Array Given the financial situation of USFA, I wouldn't count on it. I tried many years ago to get a grant for several programs I was working with and finally gave up because of the un-responsiveness and general pain in the a$$ runaround I got.
Perhaps there are others out there with different stories. I hope so.
Also, there have been other threads on this topic. -
it isn't for much. i know college teams that have gotten it, so i imagine you could possibly push through a high school team. -

Buying the beer qualifies as contributing. Making the statement qualifies as having a sense of humor. The spirit is willing, but the fleche is weak. -

Array Hey, as long as the under 21 don't buy, drink, or serve it they can keep the profits without any problem. (The school may have some issues but I don't see how it would be illegal for them to accept the proceeds of a kegger) If you give a man a fire, he is warm for the night.
