    USFA developmental grant

    Does anyone know anything about this grant? and what it would take to recieve one for a high school fencing club/team?

    Given the financial situation of USFA, I wouldn't count on it. I tried many years ago to get a grant for several programs I was working with and finally gave up because of the un-responsiveness and general pain in the a$$ runaround I got.

    Perhaps there are others out there with different stories. I hope so.

    Also, there have been other threads on this topic.

    it isn't for much. i know college teams that have gotten it, so i imagine you could possibly push through a high school team.

    Well we dont exactly need a lot, but we currently are broke and using 20 year old equipment.

    Hey, as long as the under 21 don't buy, drink, or serve it they can keep the profits without any problem. (The school may have some issues but I don't see how it would be illegal for them to accept the proceeds of a kegger)
