Foil lame curling at the zipper

I only found one relevant thread that went into resewing the zipper, which I can't do.

The part of the lame that covers the zipper has curled in on itself and the nonconductive side is showing. Is there a simple way to fix this?

Until Dan or one of his colleagues respond: Snip a few threads on the seam, slip in a plastic strip, resew.

For a quick fix, I laid my lame out flat while wet and put a large flat heavy board on top of it for a week. After that time, the lame' had flattened itself out quite nicely.

One solution I suggested in similar post curling lame was ironing.

This needs to be done under low heat and place a sheet or something similar between.

    I also suggest rolling.

Place the lamé face down and place a dry town on top.
Roll the lamé from the zipper side and used straps or something similar overnight.
