| FOR USFA tourns it's doesn't matter what type of blade one use.

| Someone told me last night that you had to be rated to qualify, i.e. E, D, C, B or A. I would also guess that you would have to be a member of the USFA.

| I was unrated for Junior Olympics last year, you don't need a rating (Unless there's been a rules change). You just need to be a member of the USFA and qualify through your division's tournament.

| Dylan,
Just show up to a USFA sanctioned tournament and they will have registration forms for you to sign up.

| u will need to be a USFA member, knickers, jacket, plasteron, and a mask that will pass test, for foil a good lame,
to get your e,d,c, ETC you need to win tourneys or at least do very well at them.

| Dude;
Go to http://www.socalfence.org and go to the schedule section. There's a link there that says "going to your first tournament? Read this!" It takes you to a primer I wrote for beginners and should cover most of your questions. |
