Anyone out there heard of WeareFencing.com?

Iwas just browsing through the sites and came across it. I notice that they offer an all-in-one Allstar uniform, I thought this was still in development - anyone seen anyone actually wear one?

    Gav,

I can't seem to find wearfencing.com. is it possible you are thinking of Blade Runners Fencing Supply which can be found at wearefencing.com?

If so, I HAVE heard of them. Blade Runners is a new company founded in part by Justin Meehan. There is much more info about them on the site.

Are you talking about the one-piece lycra-type Allstar uniform. Fantastically stretchy, like a second skin. Available in any colour you want or with a individual design of your choosing. Or are you pulling our collective legs?

thats a pretty good site, justin is a good guy. he was the director of marketing at blade, and now is runing is own shop, so blade is a bit pissed at him, look at www.blade-fencing.com and stan calls him a scammer and such,..... but they are legit

Wearfencing.com is unknown to DNS and any domain registry.

However WeAreFencing.com looks like an interesting site. The flash intro alone is worth a visit. I don't know if it's cocky enough though

Some parts of the site have been done up quite nicely, but there do seem to be numerous errors in some of the product descriptions (I've sent them mail about their listings of electric epees with your choice of foil sockets).

they let customers do the descriptions.... u can email them discrptipons and for every discription u get a dollar toward a item, even if it already has a discription. so u can do that and get free stuff.

I wonder if they let a foil fencing customer do their html -- the epee socket problems go beyond the descriptions themselves; in some cases an html menu item offers you the choice of 2-prong or bayonet socket with your epee.

Alright alright! Get off my back I mistyped the address. Yes, I was reffering to Blade Runners Fencing Supply at www.weAREfencing.com. It was early, over here in the land of miserable weather, when I came across it.

Yes I am reffering to an all-in-one stretchy uniform that I remember reading about a while back. I don't know if they decided to go with it (and the way you are talking about I get the impression they did) but the graphic in the 'jackets' section gave me the impression they had. I went to the Allstar site and couldn't find any mention of it although they use the graphic.

Is it? Looks all-in-one to me. I'll just have to take everyones word for it and get myself shipped off to the funny farm.

I feel like I'm becoming obsessed with this

I have the uniform you are linking to, Gav, and unless it came in defective, it's in 2 pieces.

The image on the link is pretty confusing because I think it must be some kind of digitally manipulated image....

Yeah, I have that uniform, or at least I have the top half because I seem to have stuffed the trousers into someone else's bag at Fencers Club last time I was up there. It's two piece. I like it.

Update: the Adidas fencing knickers I lost in NYC apparently got stuffed into the bag of someone who knows my daughter up near Boston, because she now has them, she's not sure how. Fencing is such a small world.

Triplette made the unitard I once had, so I assume they still have them in the their catalogue.

I believe Tim Morehouse found them and returned them to your daughter. You should thank him.

I've heard of <a href=fencingwear.com>fencingwear.com</a> but they sell mostly fencing related t-shirts and stuff, no uniforms. Only unitard I've seen came from Triplette. Kind of goofy-looking, I wouldnt recommend it.
