Poor Inqy....at least you'd be easy to spot. Then you and my DH can go find a hot chocolate (or beer, or some other form of alcohol) to warm up with. I'm not suffering from insanity-I'm enjoying every minute of it! I'm an armorer. -

Array For those who don't want to pay for taxis ... there's a bus which goes right from the PIT airport to University area, and stops in the Con. Ctr area. $2.60 each way, and if you're staying at an airport hotel you could feasibly use this to commute back and forth. http://www.portauthority.org/PAAC/apps/pdfs/28X.pdf

Array Actually, the 33X picks up outside the Hilton and would drop you off at Liberty and William Penn. And the buses are free downtown. -
"Some snow showers" for Satuday. -
Which, by the way, Inq, does not mean enormous snowstorm. When Pittsburghites say brisk, they probably are 30-40 degrees off of what Phoenixites mean when they say brisk, but snow showers are snow showers. It will not be the Yukon out there. It's unlikely there will be much snow on the ground, if any. -

Array If it is the Yukon out there, you should probably have words with your airline. The only way to atone for being occasionally a little over-dressed is by being always absolutely over-educated. -Oscar Wilde -
Showers are showers. The ground is probably not cold enough yet for snow to stick at all.
And eac... it's Pittsburgers

Quit (no longer with us)
Array Is there going to be video of it - we should have everybody that's recording upload it and than have craig and gav go through it all and edit it down and make into an awesome video with a Kanye soundtrack and interspersed with pics of Megan Fox
that would be awesome..
but im seriously, is there going to be any coverage or anything - or is it all just starry eyed moms and dads with video cams? -

US Fencing on Facebook and Twitter
Anthony Bartkowski November 02, 2009
U.S. Fencing on Popular Social Networks Facebook and Twitter
By Anthony Bartkowski
U.S. Fencing announced Monday that it can now be followed on Twitter at http://twitter.com/usfencing. Additionally, fans with Facebook accounts can become a fan by searching for the official U.S. Fencing Fan Page of "U.S. Fencing Association."
"We are pleased to introduce Twitter and Facebook to the fencing community," said Kurt Aichele, U.S. Fencing Executive Director. "USA Fencing will continue to post relevant Tweets and information on Facebook, which will allow the membership a real-time view into the National Governing Body."
To stay current with U.S. Fencing announcements, news and events, follow "USFencing" from your Twitter and Facebook accounts.
"In an effort to better serve our stakeholders, it is critical to leverage available social media platforms for US Fencing to help our members keep informed," said Aichele. "The frequency in which individuals access Facebook and Twitter accounts continues to grow, making this a priority in communication for US Fencing."
The social network pages will develop over the next several months including event information, schedules, membership, photos and more. http://usfencing.org/news/2009/11/02...-twitter/28737 -

Array Shouldn't you have Twittered that? "Sometimes we, as coaches, get into that dictator mode where you just tell and you don't listen and you don't try to understand them." Tom Izzo, Mich. St.
