USFA Article on NAC B

Nice PR piece on the USFA homepage on the KC NAC. Should really get the locals excited about all the fencing action in their backyard. Might even get a few to show up and watch.

BTW, seems like we have a lot of CADET WORLD CUP champions competing!

OMG! Why do people insist upon spreading misinformation and labeling things incorrectly?

Is it ignorance or purposely promoting misleading information to increase the importance and stature of these events in order to justify awarding them more points?

And by the way, Oksana Samorodov isn't on the confirmed entrant list.

"2009 Cadet World Championships team member Katharine Holmes (Washington D.C.) leads the Cadet Women's Epee list of athletes and will be challenged by ranked No. 2-4 stars Ashley Severson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), Nik Nik Ameli (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Oksana Samorodov (San Antonio, Texas)."

"Bryan Cheyney (White Bluff, Tenn.),"

Exactly my point. It would be nice if the USFA used the proper terminology in its PR articles. However, at least someone made an effort.

Now if we could only get some pieces like that ( even with it's imperfections ) published somewhere other than our own website...
