Array SoCal JO quals Nov....VENUE MAP IS WRONG! I've just advised the SoCal Chair about this, but...
The map and location on AskFred for the JO quals is WRONG.
The address ITSELF is correct, but they used Google maps and it's off by about a mile....Yahoo Maps gets it correct: http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTEx...C%20CA%2091355
Also, it's NOT in Powerhouse Gym...it's in the Santa Clarita Athletic Center.
Thought I'd get this out in case they're slow at updating. -

Array I'm sorry, you seem to be asserting that google is wrong, and we just can't have that kind of talk around here. The only way to atone for being occasionally a little over-dressed is by being always absolutely over-educated. -Oscar Wilde -

I mean...if you put an address into a mapquest...LOOK at where it is using the satellite view...that's how I knew Google was wrong...it was right in the middle of a residential area. -

Array Update: The SoCal EC became aware of the issue at the same time I did and is working on it.
In the meantime, I made an announcement to this effect yesterday at a HS tourney, so word's getting around. -

Array 2nd update.....the map has been corrected. it now shows a different address, but that's because it's the backside of the same facility, which had it's own address (front building is on Wiley Canyon, back building is on Calgrove) Similar Threads -
