In strong Junior World Cup competition in Pistoia, Italy over the weekend,
U.S. Junior Emily Cross missed the final of eight by a whisker, finishing
ninth. Cross (16, New York, N.Y./Fencers Club ) is now ranked 12th in the
world Under-20; Jacqueline Leahy (17, Aurora, Colo/Fencers Club/Princeton '
06) is ranked 10th.
