    Mission Fencing Center's SYC post-game

The Mission staff would like to thank all those who took part in this past weekend's Super Youth Circuit. Many thanks to the Referees, Armorers, Bout Committee, Volunteers, and most importantly the Fencers! we had over 540 Fencers pass through our Doors starting Friday night through Sunday. Now we here at Mission would like to here back from you on what you liked about the event and what we can improve on. How was the organization of the event? The proficiency of the BC and referees? How did you find the facility? What was your favorite part? The goody bags? Personally engraved medals? How about the ice cream machine or the catered buffet dinner? If you enjoyed this event please contact the national office and let them know so that we can host this great event again!

    Thanks,
    Mission

I, and my children, thoroughly enjoyed the SYC that you all put on this past weekend. I would definitely come back anytime that you have a tournament like this. There was plenty of room for the fencers, parents, coaches and gear. Everything ran on time and the referees were great. We will definitely brag about this tournament to the National Office!!!! Thank you again for a wonderful time.

This was my daughter's first SYC tournament and I was concerned that check-in and the set up would be confusing, but I thankfully did not find that to be the case at all. Everyone was helpful, the instructions were clear, and there was plenty of room for everyone. I think Mission Fencing did a very nice job.

This is my daughters 3rd year of going to SYC's. Mission SYC was one of the best run SYC's we have ever traveled to. Great venue, efficient time management, professionally run. Jeff the owner bent over backwards to help anyone who needed anything. We would definitely be back next year.

Disclaimer: I am not being compensated by Mission fencing for this endorsement. Just a very happy parent of a happy fencer.

Thanks for a fantastic first time!

To Jeff and all of the volunteer parents, referees, and rest:
Thank you for a memorable event. It was our first out-of-state SYC and we were blown away.
Everyone I talked to was helpful and really nice. Our judge was fair, considerate, and approachable (even though we got yellow carded for equipment) and, dare I say...fun. He really wanted all the kids to do well and have fun.
There was an incredible amount of attention to detail that would take to long to list, but was appreciated.
The goody bags were totally unexpected. The individual engraved medals hit the ball right out of the park. You can still get engraved medals on site in this day and age? Unbelievable!
Jeff did his personal very best to make it a little easier for a first time fencing mom to travel to NY with his helpful tips and suggestions. The shuttle was very much appreciated.
The venue was the best with plenty of room, space for the fencing bags, and not feeling crowded or rushed.
I was unable to take any pictures, so it was beyond cool to hear that there was a photographer on site taking pictures. His pictures are better than anything I could have taken.
The food was indeed very good and well priced, staffed by friendly helpful people who were fun to talk to. How on earth did we miss ice cream?
Not only would we consider traveling up to Mission Fencing Center again for a SYC event, we will look into to the camp in August.
I felt like everyone at Mission was committed to doing everything possible that they each could do to make this a great event and it was.
Thank you all. Mission set a high bar.

Are the pictures the wandering photographer was taking at the SYC available for viewing/purchase somewhere?

Great photos! Is there a way to buy prints? I don't see a way to do it.

    Ordering Prints

If you click on the date / weapon you want there is a contact email on the ensueing page. Just email the photographer the photos you are interested in purchasing and he'll get back to you.
