| good update on Cory Remsburg Family & Friends:
Cory had a very good day today. His storms are subsiding, only occurring occasionally, and even when they do the medication is still able to keep his heart rate within an acceptable range. All of his stats were good. He was quite active in moving his arms, but still is not responding to commands. He did open his eyes several times during the day.
We opened his NY Giants package for him. They sent him an autographed football, and yes, Eli Manning signed it, along with other team members. They also sent him a T-shirt and a get well card. The PR Rep actually called Craig...but he missed the call. We're sure they will connect at some point. Thanks to all of you that reached out to the Giants on Cory's behalf (Mr. Keating we know you were one of them-is Bryan a Giants fan?)
We continue to read him mail, and guest entries on this website. We make sure he is aware of each of you that have sent your love, prayers, and support.
We were also allowed to bring in a CD player and some of Cory's favorite Country Rock CD's. The music seems to soothe Cory.
Cory was resting peacefully this evening when we left the hospital. His heart rate was actually down to 82, and his respiration was at 22. We like to think that he is truly sleeping to build his strength for the upcoming day.

This really blew my mind, the fact that me, an overfed, long-haired leaping gnome should be the star of a Hollywood movie
