Great posts archive - suggestion for the board

I have a request that may or may not be easy to put in place, but here it is anyway:

I'd like to have a "great posts" or "most useful posts" archive in the board. This would be an archive of the most funny, or most useful posts that have been posted (and are still being posted) to the board.

A good example of a post that I think should go in such an archive is Paolo's post on cleaning epee tips. There is a lot of useful information in there and someone might not have the idea to search for it, but it's there.

Having a place where all those posts are available for reading would definitely be of interest, I think.

Anyone who feels my idea is silly, feel free to respond.

Rate threads

At the bottom of the page for a thread there should be a drop down box for "Rate this thread". If you can start rating the useful threads on the 1 to 5 star (5 stars=best) scale, that would help me in identifying and gathering them together.

I agree that there needs to be some sort of a F.A.Q. forum archive where newer fencers can go to read up on how to call the flick in foil, what basic equipment to buy, and other common threads.

Cheers,
Craig

on the other hand, [ahem], it may lead to total anarchy, with envelopes galore, and posts being categorized and recategorized until we all go mad trying to put things into specific categories..
